Winter time is still perfect for family photos here on the Gold Coast

Beach Family Photos

People often think summer is the best time for beach family photos, but here on the Gold Coast we are blessed with beautiful weather all year round. The soft pastel colours this time of year are simply gorgeous, it is the perfect backdrop.

I would recommend a outdoor shoot for larger families or older children. Children are usually more relaxed in a outdoor environment and it is easier to get nice natural shots without over posing compared to a studio shoot.

There are many favorite beaches I have here to shoot on, we can discuss these on your enquiry…there are a few that are more sheltered and less crowded than others also.

I met the lovely Duncan family at North Burleigh beach in the late afternoon. The two gorgeous girls Indie (4) and Mya (1) had heaps of fun while we were down there. Indie is such a great big sister and was a star at getting giggles out of Mya when needed. At the girls’ age we want to keep it short and sweet, but fun. Parents Trudy and Tom were happy with my cruisy approach to the beach shoot and loved the final images.
