Little Joshy had his first shoot with me back in 2011 at just 3 weeks old. We put a blanket
down on the grass and he enjoyed looking up at the blue sky giving me the opportunity to
capture some really beautiful shots and expressions.
Then in 2013, he returned with his mum Maz for a maternity shoot at 8 months pregnant.
Josh was just shy of two years old and had become a cute and cheeky little boy. He
enjoyed cuddling mum’s growing belly.
Fast-forward another year and a half and Josh was back at the studio, this time with little
brother Beau joining us for his first shoot. It was so lovely seeing the boys interacting with
each other – big brother Joshy helping to organise little Beau, telling him where to sit and
what to do, and having no trouble making him laugh.
It’s a rewarding experience to capture these moments between siblings, especially when I
have seen Joshy grow from newborn to over 3 years old. I could see how much Beau
adored his big brother – and he was a bit of a natural in front of the camera!
